Welcome to the launch of my first blog ever, where I’m practically bursting with excitement to spill the beans on my journey into the realms of Coaching and Leadership Training. Buckle up because this is not your average startup tale!
Amidst the hustle and bustle of recruitment, I found my true calling – a burning desire to impact lives, both personally and professionally. Helping people soar towards their goals is an unmatched feeling for me and my journey with Co-Active Institute helped me realise this.
Now, rewind a bit with me. Picture this: a plot twist in the form of a layoff from Epic Games. A rollercoaster of emotions ensued – anxiety, uncertainty but also a big sense of relief and freedom. But, plot twist within a plot twist – this was the nudge I needed to dive into my coaching training, a dream that had been waiting in the wings for far too long. Irony at its best – a trained coach coaching themselves through life’s unexpected twists and turns.
Hold onto your hats because here comes the juicy part. Post-layoff, a connection from my CCP Games era, also deep into coaching, tossed an opportunity my way. A workshop slot at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas, February 2024, was potentially up for grabs. Initially hesitant as my CCP connection had to pull out,, I channelled my inner risk-taker and threw my hat in the ring. My workshop on leadership coaching got the green light!
Fast forward to February 10th, 2024 – my husband and I are gearing up for an adventure in Las Vegas, complete with Grand Canyon exploration. The crown jewel? My 90-minute workshop on February 15th, where I’ll be hosting an interactive workshop sharing coaching methods with leaders to help them unleash the potential of their teams. How exciting is that!
But wait, there’s more! Networking, reconnecting with old pals, and soaking in the vibrant energy of DICE Summit—my first event in eons—is on the horizon. Hold onto your seats, because when I’m back, this blog will be a treasure trove of insights and learnings from my Las Vegas trip!
So, here’s to wild opportunities, unexpected twists, and turning every bump in the road into a story worth telling. Stay glued for the post-Vegas escapade – it’s going to be one for the books!
